Population Samples of the Evening Bat, Nycticeius Humeralis

Abstract

Captured bats at nursery colonies in Indiana. Only caught a couple of males. Suggest that males leave nursery colonies before young females. Found first year return rates for females to be between 23 and 32%, and between 50 and 60% for adult female return rates.
