Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Dalam Pemilihan Minat Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika Menggunakan Metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) di Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak

Abstract

One of which the students who has entered 6th semester will be experiencing major selection. The program will be customized for academic skills and student interest. But in the accomplishment of the subject of a major has problems that is the student doesn't choose based on the ability and academic skills. Controlling the decision system is needed as an analysis hierarchical test model using method of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The goal of this inquiry is for students to focus more in their interest and conform to their academic abilities. Used this method because it helps decision-making by considering available criteria and the information presented is qualitative. So the data process that takes results in a system that can recommend students for referration in accordance with student skills and criteria. The first ranking is the system's priority for determining decisions by looking at student interests. The result was that the largest weight was at 37.9% talent criteria and alternative criteria based on global priorities which combined the four criteria on the greater number of 61%.
