Abstract
Currently, concrete poles have had a positive growth, due to the electric power and telecommunications sectors. Therefore, the present research work has as its main objective to make a proposal for improvement in the production process of a company that is dedicated to the manufacture of reinforced concrete poles. For which, an analysis and diagnosis of the current situation of the company has been carried out, which has led to selecting the most appropriate lean manufacturing tools (5S, TPM, Jidoka) for each work area within the production process. In this sense, the proposal consists of making a schedule for the implementation of lean manufacturing tools that will facilitate the elimination of waste in said processes. Finally, the proposal is complemented with an evaluation of the savings generated by the implementation of the tools.
