ANALISIS STRUKTUR MODAL DAN PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN PROFITABILITAS SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA INDUSTRI SEKTOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA TAHUN 2020-2023

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas dan nilai perusahaan, serta peran profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening dalam industri sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 60 sampel dari data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa struktur modal yang tinggi (DER) berdampak negatif pada profitabilitas (ROA), sedangkan pertumbuhan perusahaan terbukti dapat meningkatkan profitabilitas. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Hasil analisis mengindikasikan bahwa 46,80% variasi nilai perusahaan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel struktur modal, pertumbuhan, dan profitabilitas, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, company growth on profitability and firm value, and the role of profitability as an intervening variable in the food and beverage sector registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020-2023. This research used a quantitative approach with 60 samples from secondary data.  The rsesarch result found that high capital structure (DER) negatively impacts profitability (ROA), while company growth positively affects profitability. The research also indicated that profitability enhances firm value. The analysis results showed that 46.80% of the variation in firm value can be explained by the variables of capital structure, growth, and profitability, while the remainder is influenced by other factors.
