Abstract

Recent complete sequencing of the genome of the Asian scorpion, Mesobuthus martensii, highlights the molecular diversity of its venom neurotoxin/defensin genes and interesting features of their evolution. © 2014 Ma and Shi; licensee BioMed Central Ltd.
