Abstract

The problem faced by PT X was that most of the talent employees left the company. This was a worrying issue as talent employees are the key roles in enhancing organizational performance. This problem also indicates that employees have a low commitment to the company and often referred to as organizational commitment. The aim of this study is to depict the overall description of organizational commitment among talent employees at PT X. Data was collected using an online-based questionnaire and used the entire population of talent employees at PT X (60 talent employees) as its participants. The characteristics of participants were: male/female employees who are currently undergoing the talent program at company X and have completed a minimum education of High school/Equivalent. The Organizational Commitment Questionnaire was used and consisted of eight items for each dimension (affective, continuance, and normative). The results indicate that the level of organizational commitment among talent employees at PT X was different in which the level of affective commitment and continuance commitment were high, whereas normative commitment was low.
