Abstract

This study aims to discuss the methods used to implement patient safety standards through a fall risk assessment in a hospital integrated with electronic medical records, which were obtained from several research journals. The method used is a Literature Review, which originates from journal searches on online databases, including Pubmed, ProQuest, Clinical Key Nursing, and Science. The study results show that using technology to prevent falls in patients generally indicates positive results, which are very beneficial for both patients and improve the quality of patient safety in hospitals. In conclusion, there is a need for further development of how to prevent falls in patients at the hospital so that they can show even better results.   Keywords: Assessment, Patient Safety, Nursing, Electronic Medical Records, Fall Risk
