Abstract
Studied the mathematical verbal behavior of 2 children with mental retardation during classroom transport skill training. Ss were a 4th-grade child with Down's syndrome and a mental age of 3 yrs 5 mo and a 5th-grade with epilepsy and mental retardation and a mental age of 2 yrs 7 mo. A triad transition matrix was analyzed using 3 measures: the frequency of use, the information content, and the topology of mathematical verbal behavior in classroom interactions. (English abstract).
