Abstract
This paper presents the results of a research conducted on a preschool class, in São Leopoldo (RS, Brazil) - the Turma do Pré. The categories children's cultures, work and resistance were identified based on the children's voices, which are understood as manifestations wider than simples speeches, through an ethnography approach. © 2006 CEDES.
