Abstract

The desktop publishing practice (DTP), the name by which it is internationally known today, gradually appeared in the 1970s and 1980s, with the first word processing programs and impact printers Daisy or daisywheel, used in universities and in large companies for the in-house confection of thesis artefinais and internal and restricted circulation reports.
