Aproximación al concepto de bien jurídico penal. Sobre su validez actual en el sistema penal

Abstract

This paper analyzes the concept of criminal legal right, understanding as such the object deserving of protection by the criminal legal system. It analyzes its historical evolution and its various conceptions to highlight the challenges it has to respond to in today's society. It defines its content and the functions it must fulfill within the criminal field, as well as a classification of the different existing criminal legal assets, all of this to analyze whether it continues to be a valid instrument capable of responding to the challenges of criminal law.
