Abstract

How has been the process of desecuritization of the military doctrine in Colombia after the peace process with the farc-ep? In the article, we argue that the process of dese-curitization of the military doctrine in Colombia has a turning point in 2007 and that is why the negotiations in Cuba and the signing at the Teatro Colón in Bogotá did not affect the new doctrine of the Military Forces, but they did affect the configuration of the strategic and war plans. In fact, the farc achieved a de-escalation in the vision and security concept in the Colombian agenda and went from being a security threat and problem to an exclusively political issue.
