Abstract
A new diagnosis is proposed to the genus Orthochirus Karsch, 1891, and a new genus Paraorthochirus n. gen. and two new species Paraorthochirus stockwelli and Paraorthochirus goyffoni are de- scribed from the South of Iran. Orthochirus glabrifrons Kraepelin, 1903, described from the South of Persia is transferred to the new genus Paraorthochirus.
