Gnose: uma via de reconhecimento das sombras do eu

Abstract

RESUMO Neste artigo queremos abordar a questão do fenômeno da sombra humana, como caminho de autoconhecimento e via de compreensão antropológica do ser. Para tal nos serviremos da filosofia da gnose, um velho método de autoconhecimento usado pelos filósofos gregos do século IV, os verdadeiros gnósticos, que tinham como base antropológica o modo de viver e pensar dos terapeutas do deserto do início da era cristã. Partimos da premissa de que é preciso nomear as sombras, tomar postura consciente diante delas e torná-las caminho de crescimento humano, superando assim a noção dualista de ser e respondendo ao profundo anseio humano por inteireza e comunhão com a Totalidade.ABSTRACT In this paper, we approach the matter of the phenomenon of the Shadow of the Human Self, as a means to self-awareness and anthropological understanding of the being. In order to do so, we make use of the philosophy of gnosis, an ancient method of self-awareness used by the Greek philosophers of the fourth century, the true Gnostics, which had as an anthropological basis the way of living of the desert therapists of the beginning of the Christian era. We believe it is necessary to name the Shadows, and to assume a conscious behavior facing them, so as to make them a way towards human growth, overcoming the dualist notion of being and answering to the profound human wishes for completeness and communion with the totality.
