Abstract
This study presents a floristic treatment for the species of Myrtaceae occurring in the canga of the Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil. Based on collections deposited in herbaria and field samples, 26 species were confirmed, distributed in five genera: Calyptranthes (1 sp.), Campomanesia (1 sp.), Eugenia (8 spp.), Myrcia (15 sp.) and Myrciaria (1 sp.). One new record for the state of Pará was found. Identification keys for genera and species, morphological descriptions, and taxonomic comments are provided.
