Abstract

Size matters: A highly ordered mesoporous carbon material (OMC) was synthesized by a soft-template method, and was applied as an adsorbent for the highly efficient extraction of endogenous peptides from human serum (see scheme). A total of 3402 different peptides were identified from only 20 IL of human serum. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
