Abstract
When an employee feels dissatisfied with his work because he sees no future with his current employer due to his employer's failure to assume responsibility for his successful development, usually, the tendency is for him to look for a way out. This kind of situation is not an ideal start for a career, yet many good people face exactly these types of problem during their initial years after college. When this happens and when near-term goals and short-sightedness get in the way, people and organization both suffer. For the engineer, he has a well-deserved reputation for being able to grow in and broaden their careers, yet they also show a vulnerability for early problems. The characteristic factors that work to their favor in one sense pose difficulty as well.
