Analisis Evaluasi Waste Management pada Proyek Konstruksi Gedung di Kota Surabaya

Abstract

In the construction projects, there is the potential for waste to be produced in the form of material residue. For this reason, several construction projects have made some efforts to prevent and manage waste or what is known as waste management. However, in the implementation of waste management, an evaluation of waste management implementation is needed to find out how far efforts are made by stakeholders to support green construction. This research will evaluate the implementation of waste management using descriptive statistical analysis method using mean value. The result showed that the labor factor had worked effectively, while the material, method, and management factors still worked less effectively. From a total of 25 variables that valid and reliable, 13 variables works effectively and 12 variables work less effectively. The variable that works the most effectively is the variable of contractual clauses for a subcontractor in dealing with wastes, and the variable that works the least effectively is the variable of installing equipment to recycle construction waste at the project site.
