Abstract

A time delay-based SEAIR epidemic model is proposed to understand the COVID-19 spread and the numerical simulation is validated using the reported data from the Indian subcontinent. We perform a sensitivity analysis of the crucial input model-parameters for computing the threshold parameter, reproduction number. Further, we estimate the parameter which has a high sensitivity index. The global dynamics have been proved and demonstrated using numerical examples.
