Abstract
The patent claims 2-amino-4-arylthiazole derivative compounds as inhibitors of the TRPA1 (transient receptor potential ankyrin, member 1) receptor. These compounds are potent antagonists on the basis of the results of in vitro assays, and are expected to be useful for treating conditions and disorders associated with TRPA1 function such as pain, chronic pain, neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritic pain, osteoarthritic pain, diabetic neuropathy and inflammatory disorders. © 2013 Informa UK, Ltd.
