Abstract

The Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML) launched a series of recommendations on how to minimize errors on the pre-analytical testing phase during the 44th abstract Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This is one of them. The molecular diagnostics market is growing fast and many people believe these tests are less error-prone. In this study we highlight that proper care during the pre-analytical phase is extremely important in order to ensure the reliability of molecular diagnostic tests.
