Results: a heterogeneous behavior was evidenced, with a maximum peak in the period 2019 to 2021 of seven researches. The areas of knowledge that stood out the most were Economics, Econometrics and Finance, with a frequency of 44 articles and the most producing country was the United States with 24 researches. Four lines of scientific research were identified, and possible expected results were explored and determined. The efficient management of raw materials is fundamental for the profitability and competitiveness of companies in various sectors.
