Abstract

A novel cyclostationarity-detection-based simple spectrum sensing technique of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals for cognitive radio networks is presented. The presented techniques do not require any reference tables to compute a cyclic autocorrelation function. The presented results are compared with the conventional results. Although these are found to be almost equal, the presented techniques have a lower hardware cost than the conventional techniques. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2013.
