Abstract
The article discusses the issue of gun violence in the U.S. Also noted is the effort of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on addressing opioid-overdose epidemic in the country. Mentioned is the effort of the administration of the administration President Donald Trump on preventing widespread firearm violence.
