Abstract

Using a pulsed slow positron beam, we have measured the positron lifetimes in the systems of thin Ni films on polyethylene and polycarbonate substrates made by the molecular beam epitaxial method. We have estimated the one-dimensional diffusion lengths of positrons in polyethylene and polycarbonate. © 2010 IOP Publishing Ltd.
