Abstract

Garbage is a problem faced by almost all countries in the world. This has always been a hot topic of discussion in developing and developed countries. Big cities in Indonesia produce tens of tons of waste every day. Tens of tons of garbage piled up to make residents around it very disturbed. This community service aims to educate the Trosobo village community on the use of organic waste for maggot breeding in the Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST). Community service is carried out in stages through qualitative methods. The community service partner is Trosobo village in Sidoarjo. The results of Community Service obtained are an understanding of organic waste for maggot breeding. Through this community service, the local community is more concerned about disposing of household waste according to the type of waste, both organic and inorganic, so that officers at TPST can easily manage waste by the established procedures, namely 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
