Abstract

This chapter introduces the pivotal role of changemakers in steering personal and organizational development through the execution of transfer projects. Participants undergo a competence-based training program, comprising five modules, which equips them with knowledge from both inside and beyond their organizations to facilitate change and navigate the complexity of organizational transformation processes. The training program modules feature diverse learning formats, including work-integrated learning and digital tools, ensuring learning transfer between the program and the workplace. Ultimately, the program contributes significantly to participants’ competence development by creating a robust network among them. The discussion also emphasizes the necessity for leadership involvement in support of the participants’ new role.
