Abstract

Prasinochloris sessilis gen. et sp. nov. is described from collected material. It has a sessile coccoid stage and a motile stage resembling Pyramimonas. A table records the non-motile stages reported for species of Pyramimonas, and various genera with Pyramimonas-like stages are discussed. © 1966 The British Phycological Society.
