Abstract
This paper examines the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the education system in Quebec/Canada. For that end, it analyzes a set of journalistic and opinion articles published between March 26 and May 20, 2020, in the main papers of the Quebec province. The paper seeks to identify the different impacts and rearrangements in the school education of children aged from four to eleven years old during the health crisis and to discuss how the existing educational inequalities have been significantly increased through measures to contain the spread of the virus. Finally, we reflected on the future of the school system and the importance of the right to health to go hand in hand with the right to education, to reaffirm the place of the public school as a possibility of eradicating inequalities and guaranteeing more just and equitable societies in the future.
