Abstract

Anomalous transverse dispersion was simulated using three-dimensional particle tracking velocimetry (3D-PTV) experiments. The Lagrangian trajectories for self-part of the intermediate scattering function were obtained for a conservative tracer in a porous medium. The generalized wave-vector and frequency dependent dispersion tensor were obtained using the scattering function for the inverse problems. The results showed that a fluid-solid matched refractive index porous medium of Pyrex and Glycerol were analyzed using the 3D-PTV experiments three-dimensional.
