Abstract
Now days extremely increases in the irregular building for architectural purpose in current city. Lateral load, gravity load transfer from top to bottom foundation in systematic manner. In regular building load transfer was easily in systematic manner but in irregular building load transfer from was not in regular systematic manner. So irregular building was highly affecting due to lateral load. The reason of the studied was to analyze the performance of the building under the vertical irregularities. In this research building with H-shape provide vertical irregularities as per IS 1893 Part 1:2016 and studied performance of a twelve storey building bared frame one regular model and twelve models with heavy mass load, soft storey and setback vertical irregularity were analyze in ETABS2017 with linear dynamic analysis known as response spectrum method. Parameters maximum storey displacement, story drift ratio and storey shear are in use to evaluate the models. Mass irregularity by providing heavy mass load in fourth storey, stiffness irregularity with increase the height of first storey and setback at upper floor forms vertical geometric irregularity.
