Abstract

This paper investigates the influence of Industry 4.0 on the relationship between financial, supply-demand mismatch and transportation risks and firm's performance. While all the three risks have significant negative impact on the firm's performance, Industry 4.0 triggers innovative practices and dynamic capabilities (cost optimization, visibility, collaboration), mitigating their negative impact.
