Abstract

The analysis and experimental investigation of an analogue output feedback controller for high-order boost dc-dc converter is presented. The controller incorporates both damping and integral action for enhanced performance. A comparative study of the conventional PI controller and the proposed controller shows that the latter's suitability for the highorder converter has a sound theoretical basis. Some experimental results are provided to illustrate the features of the controller in the presence of reference voltage and load changes©The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2013.
