Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the dynamics of sustainable development legal policies in Indonesia. As is well known, Indonesia is one of the few countries that includes recognition of environmental protection in its constitution. The 1945 Constitution also recognizes that sustainable development is one of the principles on which the economic system is based. More than that, sustainable development has also been included in the environmental law. However, these acknowledgments do not then make sustainable development easily implemented. There are many facts about how sustainable development is just theory and weak in implementation. The main thing is seen from the weak law enforcement against offenders who do environmental damage.
