Abstract

4-Coumarinsulfonamide 5c and 4-hydroxy-3-coumarinsulfonamide 7b, were prepared from 4-hydroxycoumarin 1. Coumarinsulfonamide 5c was served as intermediate for the synthesis of N-(isopropylphenyl)-N-(coumarin-4-sulfonyl) urea 9 and N-(4-bromphenyl-), 8a, N-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl-), 8b, and N-(4-isopropylphenyl)-4-aminocoumarin 8c.
