Abstract

This paper tries to understand what Leonardo Polo would consider the Corporate Social Responsibility to be. A responsibility that arises from the person as an actor and is addressed to persons as recipients of the action. It is an ethical responsibility, not merely legal or social. It is focused on the productive activity of the company and materialized in the governance function of its managers, shared with their collaborators. It is a manifestation of the unrestricted growth capacity of the person and is ordered to that growth, in which the company has relevant role.
