Abstract

This study deals with the psychometric properties and derivation of norms for an Arabic version of the Multiple Intelligence Development Assessment Scale for Adolescents (TEEN-MIDAS). The standardization sample consisted of 637 students (317 males, 320 females) ranging from 14 - 16 years in age. Factor analysis and one-way ANOVA reveal a good construct, factorial, and discriminatory validity. The Cronbach-a formula was used to estimate internal consistency coefficients. Split half and test-retest procedures were also used to establish reliability coefficients. All the results indicate acceptable reliability for the TEEN-MIDAS. The intelligence scores were distributed normally in terms of the age range. And the deviation for the intelligences degrees and percentiles were calculated for each group of the sample.
