Abstract

In this paper we characterize the process of technological monitoring like enterprise answer to the necessary adjustment to turbulent environments and like origin of competitive advantages. In this respect we fulfil a theoretical critique, a strategic analysis of the above-mentioned monitoring like tool for the competitive development of the company in sectors involved with the research, development and innovation (R+D+i), as well as a sequential adjustment to the development of aquaculture. On the above mentioned base we have realized an application to the Spanish Aquaculture, by means of the resistance of three hypotheses related to the global level of development of the systems, the factors and agents of the environment and the use of sources of intelligence, all of them through statistical program SPSS 18. Since conclusion we have identified global patterns for the monitoring in the sector and specificities by subsector, activity, geographical area or type of crop. © Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Facultad de Economía y Negocios.
