Abstract

There are no passengers on spaceship earth. We are all crew ! (Marshall Mcluhan). Understanding the emergence of new zoonotic agents requires knowledge of pathogen biodiversity in wildlife, human-wildlife interactions, anthropogenic pressures on wildlife populations, and changes in society and human behavior.
