Work-by-inclusion – Inklusives informationssystem für die kommissionierung mittels datenbrille

Abstract

Order picking is an essential task in logisti cs. In manual order picking, the worker is provided by the information system as part of the order picking system with relevant work instructions. Using the Pick-by-Vision technology, which was developed at the Institute for Materials Handling, Material Flow, Logistics (fml) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), instructions are directly shown in the field of view by a headmounted display to the order picker. In the third research project regarding this technology, beside the application in real practice a focus is set to the inclusion of hearing impaired workers.
