Abstract

Thirty-nine genera and 80 species of xanthoid crabs are identified from recent collections in Somalia and their habitats discussed. Most are new records for Somalia and 23 were previously unknown from the East African coast. Descriptions and illustrations are given for two new species: Cymo lanatopodus and Hypocolpus pardii. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
