Abstract

This present volume is intended as a serious introduction to the chemistry of indole alkaloids using selected axamples from the major groups, compiled and written by Dr Taylor, who has made considerable contributions ti this discipline. the treatment charts both classical and modern approaches to the examination of these natural products with special reference to examine chemistry. The case for a common biogenetic origin for indole alkaloids is also examined.
