Synthesis and chemical characterisation of new bis-thieno [2,3-b]thiophene derivatives

Abstract

Using 3-methyl-4-phenylthieno[2,3-b]thiophene-2,5-dicarbohydrazide as synthon a series of new bis-heterocycles incorporating the thieno[2,3-b] thiophene nucleus was prepared and characterized. © 2010 by the authors.
