Abstract
The presented article analyses the possibilities of syngas recovery, mainly the basic methods of recovery. Particular attention is on the experimental part of the possibility of separating hydrogen, which were contained in the syngas, by a mechanical separator using a significantly lower density of hydrogen for its separation from remainder syngas, and subsequent use as a pre-treatment module for last part of cleaning in a facility, which use metal hydride. This pre-treatment allows for enhanced protection of the metal hydride device from oxygen contamination. In the case of oxygen reaction with a metal hydride alloy, it is significantly degraded.
