On products in the cohomology of the dihedral groups

Abstract

Explicit diagonal approximations for efficient resolutions of the integers over the dihedral groups are constructed. As an application, the multiplicative structure of the cohomology of the dihedral groups arising from certain coefficient pairings is determined. © 1993 Tohoku University, Mathematical Institute.
