A evolução da paisagem do município de Novo Itacolomi: uma abordagem ambiental

Abstract

This research had as its main objective to analyze the landscape of the city of Novo Itacolomi from a spatial cutout, in an attempt to analyze historical, economical and environmental transformations that occurred in that space, as well as qualify the interference of human action on production of that study area, which resulted in this present dynamics. Regarding the concept of landscape, the study assumed a systematic approach, seeking an integrated analysis of the landscape. Although the study made by this research is restricted to that site, many characteristics present here can also be found in the entire north of Paraná during the occupation period, accomplished above all by CMNP. Thus, it is characterized as a developing urban geographic space, as well as a rural area with significant agricultural production through diversified agriculture - allied with cattle raising, which most of the city's land, and aviculture.
