Abstract
Five significant groups in the time, called chronotypes, have been established in the wetland Tres Puentes, located in the city of Punta Arenas, based on birds censuses carried during 67 consecutive months. These results indicate the presence of two chronotypes of migratory birds, one of resident birds, one chronotype of semi-resident birds and a fifth chronotype of sporadic birds. Leaving evidence regular and systematic use these birds make on Tres Puentes urban wetland. Our results stress the importance of preserving the urban ecosystem of Tres Puentes wetland.
