Identifikasi Pemberkasan Arsip PT. Swarawangi Timur: Radio Bintang Tenggara Banyuwangi

Abstract

This research focuses on filing archives for an institution/organization that has a very important role in the information retrieval process, administrative needs as legal evidence, decision making, use value in the financial sector, and documentation at PT. Swarawangi Timur: Radio Bintang Tenggara Banyuwangi, East Java Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the method of filing archives used by Radio Bintang Tenggara and the obstacles in filing archives. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using observation and overall interviews. File filing at Radio Bintang Tenggara is essential to support organizational functions at PT. Swarawangi Timur. There are several work units creating archives for the benefit of the institution's administration in accordance with their roles and functions in supporting the core activities of the broadcasting institution. The archive management system applied in the work unit of Radio Bintang Tenggara still uses a chronological filing system. The archive filing procedure starts from checking various invoices and notifications as well as inputting data into the computer, disposition of letters by the leadership, after disposition, naming the archive folder, then storing it. The obstacles experienced in filing archives at Radio Bintang Tenggara are that they have not implemented a digital archiving system and there is no archiving work unit so that the filing has not been maximized in accordance with archival rules.
