Abstract

The article describes part of the intervention program, which aims to develop critical thinking in adolescents, in a formal setting, using methods and techniques of non-formal education. The formative experiment involved 28 adolescents with low scores on the Cornell Critical Thinking Test series (14 GE and 14 GC). The program for the development of critical thinking included 10 sessions, using a wide range of creative methods. The effectiveness of the critical thinking development program was confirmed using Welch’s T-test, which showed a statistically significant difference between groups (p = 0.002), with an increase in critical thinking scores for the experimental group. These results confirm the effectiveness of the program in improving the critical thinking skills of the participants.
