Abstract

This paper presents a simplified slow dynamic model for a solid oxide fuel cell. The stand alone performance is analyzed and evaluated. A simple distribution feeder is penetrated by two fuel cell plants, and this is used as an example to evaluate the load following performance. The simulation indicates a restricted capacity of locally supply step load changes of the fuel cells.
